Dato receives 2 international awards in New York

On November 15 2009 Big Apple Music Awards ceremony took place in Manhattan Centre, New York.
The sold-out show featured artists from over 20 countries. Awards in 22 nominations were given to the best musicians,
according to Big Apple Music Awards Academy. Among the winners are Amr Diab (most popular singer and outstanding achievements in music),
Alabina (Diamond Award for selling millions of records) and Arash (best international artist).

Dato represented two countries in the ceremony and was welcomed by a storm of applause when performing several songs from his repertoire.
He received two awards: 'best music video' for «Sand Dream» and 'best European artist'. We're very pleased that Dato's collection of awards and acknowledgements is steadily growing.

Big Apple Music Awards stands in line with European Music Awards, Latina

Music Awards and will get a lot of media coverage in the USA, Canada, Israel, France, Sweden and other countries.
More than 15 channels all over the world will broadcast the show.

Dato is known for working in very different genres such as R'n'B, Dance, Soul, Pop, Jazz.
At the same time Eastern melodics has always appealed to him, therefore taking part in this ceremony was a big honour for the artist.
